Day 6

10:30am and I am having a very hard time every where there is food.

Laura Swafford Stoltz i wish you peace in your fast/feast of ramadan. :) you can do it!

Kerry Brodbeck Bellman think of bugs crawling in the food it always helps me lose my apetite for hours

Becky Gronquist you will make it! blessings to you!

Tiana M. Holland Please don't tell me you haven't been eating for 6 days?!

Jojo Tee its only sun up to sun down trust me i make up for it after the sun goes down.

Tiana M. Holland Oh, ok good! Lol!

got better in the after noon. Nye and I took a long nap. I woke up and I wasn't even hungry. Hubby took us out to hometown buffet for dinner. Yummy.

Rebecca Bauer and Tiana M. Holland like this.

Sanah Suleiman Hassan Good Job Jo! Your doing great!!

Jojo thanks Sanah it is getting easier. Except once hubby comes home in the evening he is used to having his dinner right away and he has chosen to wait for me. Which makes him cranky.

Anne 'Sowdal' Bowes Praying for you during this time...you are doing amazing :) Can ask what the kids do during Ramadan, maybe a silly question but is there a certain age at which they start to participate...

I think this is such an amazing thing - not only to focus on your faith and renew but to understand what it is like for most people in this world who don't have the basic necessities of life...food and water

Jojo Thank you Anne!! I think its a family thing as to what age the kids start. I was at a class last week were the speaker was saying he knew of a child as young as 4 who would fast from breakfast to lunch and then from lunch to dinner. I think that is really cool way to get them to start. This would mean no snacks or drinks between meals. I wish I had tried that first before jumping in with both feet. But you know what I have had three and a half years to get my feet used to the idea.
