Day 3

I made it through the day I guess with Allah's wish. It seemed like when ever I just couldn't take my mouth being so dry it was time for wadu and I got to moist it. I love doing wadu!!!! its the best thing in the world.

Sam InPowell likes this.

Abigail Stone Venable wadu you do for wadu? :P sorry, bad joke, but I have to ask.

Jojo Lol its how we clean ourselves before we pray. You wash your hands three times, then you put water in you mouth and spit it out also three times then you wash your face, head, ears, and neck. Then you wash your arm upto the elbow. And last you wash your feet three times. Always starting with your rightside. And since we pray 5 times a day its really never too long before you get to do wadu!!!!

Abigail Stone Venable well that's nice for when you're fasting, makes it more bearable!

Jojo Yes God built in blessing every where we just need to know to look at them that way! I never really liked doing wadu before, then yesterday I figured it out.

Barbara McLane this sounds interesting, not to sound dence though.. what religion are you, and what is the fasting for?? I like to learn about religions :-) :::HUGS::: you are doing great!! and enjoy your wadu.

Jojo On Wed the month of Ramadan started this is based on the lunar calendar. For the whole month we fast. This means from sun up to sun down we do not eat or drink anything. I am a Muslim, I converted about 4 years ago. We fast because God told us to, so that we will learn what it is like to feel hunger like the poor. It also teaches us patience, and allot of other things. And by doing this we attain piety. If you want more information i would be happy to point you in the right direction of some websites. You really have to be careful a lot of the websites out there are not true Islam.

Barbara McLane cool thank you :-)
